1968 Chevrolet Camaro Convertible

Up for sale is one beautiful 1968 Chevy Camaro convertible with a 327 V8 and a Muncie manual transmission 4 speed. This Camaro has had a recent professional paint job and is laser straight and 100% rust free. This is a beautiful car with NO rust NO blisters and NO issues. This is a metal car and NOT a bondo bucket. It is equipped with a power top, power steering and power drum brakes. Every thing works as it should (blinkers, horn, emergency brake and so on). Paint is obviously in excellent shape, very vibrant and deep, laid nice and flat with no orange peel. The body is laser straight and the gaps are very nice. NO scratches and NO dings. There is absolutely NO rust, rot or paint blisters on the car. The underneath is as clean as the body. Rock solid and there is no hack patch jobs or rust issues. The chrome and stainless is all in excellent shape. The engine bay is very sanitary and presents very well. The trunk is also very clean and still has the original shaker weights. The glass is all very nice, no scratches or hazing. This car is an absolute beast. When you fire it up and drive it down the road, it sounds like Saturday night at the drags, it sounds MEAN! The motor was completely rebuilt 2,000 miles ago and is super healthy, fires right up, idles perfect, runs cool with great oil pressure. No smoke and no weird noises. The 327 has the fuelie, double hump heads with 2.02 valves. This motor produces some serious power and moves this rag top along VERY nicely. I wouldnt be surprised is it was built to the L79 specs at 350 HP. AGAIN, SOUNDS AMAZING! The Muncie transmission has a newer clutch and pressure plate, great grabbing point and no slipping. It was completely rebuilt along with the motor and has 2,000 miles on it. This car is an absolute delight to drive!. The interior is in excellent shape, no issues, no rips and so on. Beautiful upholstery and carpet. No rips and no cracks. I would call it a 9 out of a 10. The top is in excellent shape with no rips, the convertible window is in good shape with no hazing. The convertible boot is also in excellent shape. The car has been gone through from front to back and needs nothing, it is 100% ready to go to a new home and enjoyed. This car runs and drives beautiful and again, its an absolute blast to drive. It floats down the road so nice. Great cruise night car or for winning trophies at your local car shows. Super tight car, goes straight down the road, no rattles or shimmy’s and it will brake straight without pulling side to side. No vibrations just a crazy fast and powerful rag top Camaro. The car has a 10 bolt rear end with posi and has decently friendly highway gearing. Tires and the wheels are new, in fact all the beauty rings and centers are brand new too.
