1965 Ford Falcon Futura

1965 Ford Falcon Futura with matching numbers 289 and 4 speed. Clean title in hand. The car retains all of its original body panels and the engine skirts are stamped with the VIN number. This car was restored in 2008 and I have all the documents and pictures showing the restoration process. It was a beautiful rust free car from NC and was brought up in 2007 for the full complete restoration. The body was taken right down to the shell, no expense spared. Motor is in excellent health and was fully rebuilt 4,500 miles ago. No smoke no weird noises or knocks and no leaks. Super powerful and fast. It was built using Hi-Po internals such as Hi-Po cam and hydraulic roller assembly. Also has Hi-Po aluminum intake manifold, the car is very quick and a blast to drive! It also has a Holly 4 barrel carburetor with electronic choke and really nice side pipe exhaust. The body is in excellent shape, no rot or rust and is very straight. Trunk is super clean with nice splatter and no rust. Paint is also in excellent shape. It is a single stage polly in the cars original color of Rangoon Red. It has about 3 or 4 blemishes but very minor. The rest of the car shines like glass. This is an all metal car with very minimal bondo (skim coat here and there at most) and you can see it in the restoration photos. Underneath is very clean and rust free, engine bay is detailed and very clean. All the chrome and trim is in excellent shape, front and rear bumpers are like new. Interior is a perfect 10, no issues and everything works. It has brand new white lettered muscle car Mastercraft Avenger GT tires (215/65R15) with 0 miles on them. Recently new to the car is clutch and pressure plate, rear leaf springs and shocks. The car has no issues at all, runs and drives like brand new. It drives straight down the road and does not trail at all, no vibrations, no noises and if you hit the brakes it will stop straight. It runs amazingly cool even sitting in stopped traffic on a hot summer day. This car is just beautiful and an absolute treat to drive. It has plenty of muscle under the hood and sounds AMAZING! Getting in this little race car and banging through the gears makes you smile from ear to ear. I wouldn’t hesitate getting in it and driving to California.
