1971 Plymouth Duster 340 H code tribute with a Magnum crate 360 / 380 HP and a Tremec 5 Speed. Absolutely a gorgeous car with NO rust NO blisters NO bondo and NO issues. This Duster has all its original metal, rear quarters, floors, rockers, radiator support and so on. The body is LASER straight, perfect gaps and the paint is GORGEOUS. Done in B5 Blue with no orange peel and it shines like a mirror. Super flat, super deep just beautiful, it does have 2 small stone chips on the front of the hood, very minor and touched up, hard to tell they are even there. Other than that its absolutely a gorgeous paint job. Power steering and manual drum brakes. Every thing works as it should, headlights, blinkers horn and so on. There is absolutely NO rust, rot or paint blisters on the car. The underneath is as clean as the body. The chrome and stainless is all in excellent shape. The front and rear bumpers look to be original, they do have some scratches but nothing major. The rear bumper does have 2 tiny dings about the size of the tip of a pen cap (see video). The engine bay is painted beautifully and is semi-detailed and presents very well, the trunk is painted and super clean. The glass is all very nice. The BF Goodrich rubber on the Mopar Rally wheels are like new. This car is an absolute ROCKET. The 360 crate motor has under 10k miles and with 380 HP moves this A body right along. The rear end is a 8 and 3/4 with 3.23 gears, sure grip posi. Its a rocket on the street but with the Tremec 5 speed you can get on the highway and cruise at 80 MPH at 2k RPM. Some goodies under the hood too like Holley carburetor and a complete Thrush exhaust, makes a perfect sound with the stock exhaust manifolds. The motor is super healthy, fires right up, idles perfect, runs cool with great oil pressure. No smoke and no weird noises. The transmission has a great grabbing point and no slipping. The Tremec was installed not to long ago. This car is an absolute delight to drive, it will eat GM big blocks all day long. The interior is in excellent shape, no issues (has a few drill holes in the dash, and I don’t know why or what for, see pic) and a patch on the dash pad. Bucket seats with beautiful upholstery, nice carpet and headliner with Duster floor mats. The car has been gone through from front to back and needs nothing, it is 100% ready to go to a new home and enjoyed. This car runs and drives beautiful and again, its an absolute blast to drive. Super tight car, goes straight down the road and brakes straight. No vibrations just a crazy fast and powerful car. These A-body cars are getting harder and harder to find, don’t miss out on this Mopar classic!
