1962 Chevy II 400 series (Nova) convertible with a 4 speed manual transmission and a 307 V8. Clean title in hand, 56k original documented miles! Beautiful rust and rot free body with beautiful paint. No dings and no blisters. Couple small chips in the paint (have been touched up) but other than that absolutely beautiful. No orange peel and it shines like a mirror. This car still retains its original floors which is rare in such an old convertible (convertibles leak and floors rot fast). Trunk is original and super clean with nice spatter paint. Body is super straight with no waves in the sheet metal and no bondo. Underneath is super clean and rust free, no scaling. The manual top is white and like new, no wrinkles and no rips. Convertible boot is also in excellent condition. Motor is in excellent health, no smoke no weird noises or knocks and no leaks. Runs super cool never going above 180 degrees even on a hot summer day in stop and go traffic. Very clean engine compartment, semi detailed. Super powerful and fast; this 307 is no slouch moving this light weight drop top. Manual 4 speed Saginaw transmission that shifts nice and smooth, clutch was replaced recently. Drives straight as an arrow down the road and when you hit the brakes it stops straight. All the chrome and trim is in excellent shape. Interior is a 9.5 out of a 10. No rips in the seat, very clean. Everything works as it should, blinkers, horn, wipers and so on. It has brand new wheels with new rubber (BF Goodrich). The car has no issues at all, runs and drives like brand new and is a real treat to drive. It has plenty of muscle under the hood and sounds AMAZING! It is a wonderful Sunday driver and I wouldn’t hesitate getting in it and driving to California. Come and take a look, when you hear it start up and take it for a drive with the top down, you will take it home.
