1958 Chevrolet Apache 3100

1958 Chevy Apache 3100 short bed step-side with a 283 and a manual 3 speed transmission on the column. This is a really clean truck with NO rust NO blisters and NO issues. This is a metal truck and NOT a bondo bucket. It is equipped with manual everything just like it left the factory. Every thing works as it should (blinkers, horn, emergency brake and so on). Paint is in great shape, very nice driver quality with no blistering (has a scrape on the passenger door please see picture). It’s not show quality but extremely presentable. The body is straight and the gaps are excellent for a 58 Chevy. There is absolutely NO rust, rot or paint blisters on the truck. The underneath is absolutely beautiful, everything is nice and painted, rock solid and there is no hack patch jobs. This truck was an amateur frame off restoration and done well. The chrome and stainless is all original and does show its age, the grille and bumpers are painted as it would have been in 58. This truck was restored to be a factory original. It still rides on its original frame and king pin suspension. These un-molested trucks are becoming very hard to find. The engine bay is super clean, nice and tidy, it was restored to keep as close to a factory look as possible. The bed is all brand new with new oak. The glass is all very nice, no scratches or hazing. Don’t let the V8 283 fool you, it gets this truck up and going. When you fire it up and drive it down the road, it sounds like back in the day! The motor is super healthy. It fires right up, idles perfect, runs nice and cool. No smoke and no weird noises. The transmission has a great grabbing point and no slipping. This truck is an absolute delight to drive!. The interior is in excellent shape, no issues, no rips and so on. The paint on the door panels and the jams are beautiful and the upholstery is perfect. The truck has been gone through from front to back and needs nothing, it is 100% ready to go to a new home and enjoyed. This truck runs and drives beautiful and again, its an absolute blast to drive. It floats down the road so nice. Super tight truck with a lot of new parts. It goes straight down the road, no rattles or shimmy’s and it will brake straight without pulling side to side. No vibrations just a fun cruiser. Tires and the wheels are like new and really add to the factory appearance.
