1957 Chevrolet 3100

1957 Chevy 3100 short bed step-side with a Chevy 350 V8 in excellent condition. Clean open title in hand. This truck is 100% rust and rot free, super clean inside and out. This is an un-molested, un-cut southern truck. The truck has been in the south its whole life (TN). It rides on its original, un-cut frame and a lot of the metal is original to the truck. To my knowledge only the bed frame and rails were replaced during the restoration. The oak bed is also in gorgeous shape. The paint is only a few years old and still shines beautiful. No orange peel, no blisters, no rot or rust (one or two small stone chips). It is a medium green and not John Deer green. Interior is beautiful, super clean with no issues. Underneath is clean enough to eat off of and the engine bay is semi-detailed, no rust issues. All the chrome and trim is in amazing condition, no issues there. The Chevy 350 V8 is super healthy, no smoke, no weird noises very powerful and sounds great. It was recently rebuilt with all new internals. Its a GM 4 bolt main with a standard 2 piece rear main seal. Crank and rods are OEM standard G20. The pistons, rings and wrist pins are all new and full floating with spiral-lock retainer clips. The cam is OEM with a little lift, heads are OEM 76cc with port matching and flow relieving work done. The truck has a 700R4 transmission which was also recently rebuilt and shifts beautiful. Plus the over drive makes for nice cruising. The rear end is original to the truck and is a 12 bolt GM. We have looked inside and inspected it to be super clean, fluids were changed at the time of inspection. Most of the front end, suspension and brake parts are all new and rebuilt. Manual steering with power disk brakes, just how an old truck should be. The truck has factory Ram Head exhaust manifolds and a dual exhaust that sounds great, awesome sound that’s not annoying. This truck runs and drives like brand new. No issues, no leaks, NO bondo, its an all metal truck. Very quick and goes straight down the road with no vibrations or weird noises. Hit the brakes and it brakes straight with no issues. Everything works as it should except the speedo and tach (we are looking into it).
