1956 Chevrolet 3100 Short Bed

1956 Chevy 3100 short bed step-side with a 283 and a manual 4 speed transmission on the floor. Clean and clear title in hand. This is a really clean truck with NO rust NO blisters and NO issues. This is a metal truck and NOT a bondo bucket. It is equipped with power steering and manual drum brakes. Every thing works as it should (blinkers, horn, emergency brake and so on). Paint is in excellent shape, very vibrant and laid nice and flat with no orange peel. It’s not show quality but extremely presentable with only a handful of stone chips. NO scratches and NO dings. The body is straight and the gaps are excellent for a 56 Chevy. There is absolutely NO rust, rot or paint blisters on the car. The underneath is very clean, no scaling or rust issues, rock solid and there is no hack patch jobs. The chrome and stainless is all in excellent shape, the grille and bumpers are beautiful. The engine bay is super clean, nice and tidy. The engine is painted along with everything else, very very clean. The engine bay was restored to keep a factory look but the truck runs and drives like a hot rod. The bed is also very clean and the oak is in great shape. The glass is all very nice, no scratches or hazing (the windshield has a very small chip smaller than a pencil eraser tip). Don’t let the V8 283 fool you, it gets this truck up and going. When you fire it up and drive it down the road, it sounds MEAN! The motor is super healthy and was completely rebuilt 2 years ago along with the transmission. It fires right up, idles perfect, runs nice and cool (new large radiator last year) with great oil pressure. No smoke and no weird noises. AGAIN, SOUNDS AMAZING! The transmission has a newer clutch and pressure plate, great grabbing point and no slipping. This truck is an absolute delight to drive!. The interior is in excellent shape, no issues, no rips and so on. The dash and cab have a few scrapes but nothing major. The paint on the doors and the jams are beautiful and the upholstery is perfect. The truck has been gone through from front to back and needs nothing, it is 100% ready to go to a new home and enjoyed. This truck runs and drives beautiful and again, its an absolute blast to drive. It floats down the road so nice. Super tight truck, goes straight down the road, no rattles or shimmy’s and it will brake straight without pulling side to side. No vibrations just a beautiful and fun cruiser. Tires and the wheels are like new and really add to the factory appearance.
